The Wet Brush Review

love the wet brush! I had three Goody brand brushes that I switched between using so I wouldn't wear the bristles out too quickly. My hair is long and really thick (so thick that if I don't get it trimmed at least every two months, I get severe neck-aches and stress-induced headaches from having my hair up in a ponytail too long, which puts stress on my neck. My hair is HEAVY!) I was going through bottles of leave-in conditioner and detangling spray so quickly and it made my hair sooo greasy. It was such a pain and all I wanted was to brush my hair! When it gets wet it becomes wavy & what I personally call a hot mess!

My hair stylist is tell one who told me about the wet brush and I tried it immediately on my dry hair, that had been brushed earlier, and the brush went thru with ease and the bristles did not get caught and pull my hair hard at all.

I then tried it after I washed my hair-  and I had no issues what so ever- it was the fastest and easiest time I have ever had brushing my wet hair, and there was no pain. I was afraid that maybe it wasnt getting everywhere because it just seemed to be working too good, so I took the brush I normally used and brushed it after and it was smooth.

Needless to say, I am extremely happy with this brush and I could not be happier.

I can't believe I did not need my detangling spray. I did not need my leave-in conditioner. I had this wonderful, lightweight brush that looks so flimsy and cheap, but it a wonderful tool! I use it daily and love it to death. I'm going to buy more in the future because my hair is so thick, bristles bend and break under it and it's starting to pull my hair the way other brushes do from the get-go. I've had months of use from this one brush alone. It gets my hair brushed so quickly and pain free, I'm still sometimes shocked it works so well. There are nights that I toss and turn so much in my sleep that I do have to hunt down my detangler, but the problem is quickly solved and without spraying it throughout my hair and getting it greasy. Also, I brush my hair a couple times a day and it works whether my hair is wet or dry. This brush does it all!

This is the only brush I'll ever buy from now on! I recommend it for anyone who pulls their hair when using a normal brush. Once you buy the wet brush you won't go back!

Note: That 'tire rubber' smell people talk about is real, but I only smell it when I sniff my brush. It doesn't spread to my hair when I brush it.

I've added pictures of my hair and this explains why I love my wet brush so much! Have you tried the wet brush yet?
