HOT + SWEET Smoked Spanish Paprika Powder Review

Today I'm reviewing a 2 pack set of smoked Spanish paprika. One bottle is sweet and one bottle is HOT! A bit about them; they've been smoked dried over holm oak for a minimum of 14 days, following a century old local recipe. They're imported from the famous La Vera region of Spain.

I love cooking and so does my mother so we decided to really put this hot and sweet smoked Spanish paprika to the real test.

I'm one of these people and so is my mother that will experiment with different food spices and combos to see what we like or dislike. If we like it of course we will do it again and if not you guessed right we won't try it ever again.

We first done the basic what usually everyone would do with paprika. We boiled some eggs and deviled them.

My favorite in this taste test was the sweet smoked paprika. My mother also agreed. The aftertaste is sweet and just right amount of zing as we call it that really brings out the flavor of the food.

The hot smoked paprika just wasn't a favorite around our house. I'm not saying that because it's hot or anything. I will try it in something else next time just not my deviled eggs.

It's so many great recipes and dishes you can add both of these spices to. We tried it on our steamed veggies, pot roast and I have to say both tasted really good on it, deviled eggs of course, potato salad and my kids noticed something was different because of the color of it. I can't sneak anything past those two now days. I want to try it in my homemade crock pot chili, bbq, and pasta dishes. It may also be fun to play with in some Mexican dishes. Hmm so many playful ideas.

You never know what you may like until you try it yourself. Yes, not everyone will agree with you on your tastings that's why we are all different. I say give hot and sweet smoked Spanish paprika a try. Then see which food it really brings out the flavor in for you.

I received this item for the purpose of my review, but my opinions are 100% my own, and based on my personal use. I was not told what to say, only asked to give my honest review based on my own experience with the product.
