I love this straightener. It works fantastic! My hair is always fuzzy if I blow dry it and even worse on humid days. I live in the south so only imagine how bad that is. Then if I don't blow dry it my hair has this wave/curl deal going on. If I don't do something to my hair I look a hot mess! I straightened my hair with this straighter and it took less than ten minutes to do my whole head. I have extra thick hair so I split it off into sections to do it correctly. This straighter doesn't over heat your hair. I don't smell burnt hair when using it. The plates heat up nicely then glide through my hair like silk. Then after my hair is like super shiny and silky looking. I can style it if I want or just leave it down. I did notice that I could also do loose curls with this straighter. I find that fun. I could do beachy curls too if I wanted. I would just have to play around with it a bit. I personally really just got this for it to be a straighter for my fuzzy hot mess hair. I love how long the cord is also so I can use my plug in and see myself in my mirror in my room and not have to use the bathroom plug in and stay in there. I don't like fixing my hair in bathroom lol. I'm super thrilled about this straighter and can't wait to keep using it. I'm sure it's easy to travel with also considering it's so light weight, not bulky and easy to control. It shouldn't take up much room at all in my travel bag.
