This laptop table is lightweight. It took me a while to figure out exactly how to put the table together. However since getting it together I love it. I plugged it up and the fans work great keeping my laptop cool so it doesn't over heat. The fans are actually really quiet which made me wonder a couple times are they working. I would check and sure enough they were on and working. It can be in different positions so you can pick which is best for you. I don't advise you to use this on a couch or bed because it seems to make it unstable. Your laptop could fall and you wouldn't have that. I usually use mine while I sit in the floor watching tv or the kids use it. We really are enjoying it as now we don't have to worry so much about laptop overheating.
