This product works really well before it my hair would get around the drain and not let the water drain while I was in show. This posed a big problem. No telling how much hair has went down the drain when I've taken a shower in the past. This cover fits my drain perfectly. It doesn't move around while my shower is on. It stays there and catches my hair that falls out. I have thick hair so a lot of it seems to fall out when I wash it. When I have it up in a ponytail before I wash it the hair falls out worse. I look forward to using this each time I take a shower. You can also use it in your sink, but it's perfect for my shower so that's where I will use mine.
