This comes in a plain white box so if you open your package around your child no worries. However I do wish it came in a pretty box so you could see inside. This way if you were giving it as a gift it would look more presentable. It's nicely packed. You just need to put the chair on the bottom part. It's simple and requires little effort. It's nothing difficult. It comes with nice size accessories for your child to play with the doll with they want to fix the hair. My daughter received this for her birthday and she is super thrilled to have this for her my life doll. She has fixed her hair a lot and even stands her barbies in the chair to work on them. I guess it's her being a girl. She has no complaints what so ever she loves this product.
