My daughter and son love to play chess. I figured they would love to take this with us while on spring break for wind down time at night. We opened the box and the design isn't what we expected. The board itself is a good size but I wouldn't exactly call it travel size. My daughter is rather disappointed and she is age nine. She wanted something better in quality. They played a few times. The box is nice that it's kept inside of until ready to play the next time. I'm sure this won't be a game we get out during family game night but it's ok for traveling this summer. This needs some tweaking and it would be an awesome product but for now it's only getting three stars.
