The Griswolds are heading back to Walley World!
For years, the rumors have swirled over whether or not a "Vacation" reboot would ever hit theaters and now we have photographic evidence that it's officially happening.
Last week, Warner Bros. Pictures released the first image of the full cast from the upcoming reboot of the 1983 classic "National Lampoon's Vacation."
Last week, Warner Bros. Pictures released the first image of the full cast from the upcoming reboot of the 1983 classic "National Lampoon's Vacation."
The reboot, simply titled "Vacation," will feature Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold and Christina Applegate as his wife Debbie, while Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo will be reprising their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold for the first time since 1997's "Vegas Vacation." Rusty's sister Audrey, played by Leslie Mann, will also be making an appearance in the film, rounding out the immediate family.
There's no word on whether or not Randy Quaid will be reprising his role as the zany-yet-lovable cousin Eddie (but this girl would love to see him again.)
Much like the original Griswolds, Rusty and Debbie will be making a cross-country trek to America's favorite family fun park, bringing along their two kids for what's sure to be anything but a smooth ride.
"Vacation" is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31. Hopefully this time around, the park will be open when the Griswolds finally arrive.
