I recently went looking at new SUV's to buy and had my thoughts on what if this car was wrecked and repainted. Now when I go back I can test it out on the paint and see exactly if it has. This works well on testing paint. It told me on my older Jeep Cherokee it had been repainted all over it. I knew it had before though. Then I tested the newer car and it didn't come up with anything as if it's still new paint. Then my Escape also was showing it had been repainted. I knew this too as it was too before I bought it. So overall this is a nice paint thickness tester meter. It took me an few to figure out how it exactly worked but I found out quickly. Then it didn't take me but a few times to catch on how to read it. Great tool to invest in if you are wondering if a dealership is trying to pull a fast one over on you or even if you are buying from an individual.
