Bird Feeder Product Review

I was so excited when this bird feeder arrived at the house. I'm starting to see bird come to the house looking for food. My kids love watching birds as much as I do. I love bird feeders and this one is really neat.

When I opened it I saw just how cute it was and really larger than I expected. It's rather attractive. It didn't come with instructions but it's rather easy to assemble. The base and top both screw into the clear plastic portion so this makes it rather difficult to fill with bird seeds. You either have to slowly fill through the small hole such as we did with a funnel or unscrew the top or bottom each time. However then you may make it where the screws won't stay in once you take them in and out so much. It should have a small place with a hole in too with like a flap to put the bird seeds in it. 

I also noticed the rope you hang it with needs to be replaced with something more weather resistant. Then the place that holds the ropes needs to be moved up a tiny bit because when I hang it on a branch it's heavy towards the back. 

I noticed that it is sturdy and not made out of flimsy plastic. If it falls it should be good. It also works well with all bird seeds. 

My kids love the fruit spike they have never seen a feeder have this before. I thought it was really neat too. It adds to the attractiveness and hopefully will attract more birds. 

The water dish is also a cute add to the bird feeder. I will have to keep a check on it daily since my bird feeder tends to lean to back being full of bird seeds. 

I honestly don't see this being squirrel proof because I have to find a bird feeder that kept them out. I haven't seen any trying to mess with it but doesn't mean they haven't tried. 

The kids and I can't wait to see all the birds we will have coming to our new bird feeder.
