PB2 and PB2 with Chocolate Review + Giveaway

Have you ever heard of PB2? If so have you ever tried it? Well I'm one of the ones who didn't know about it till recently. Yes, I know I don't know what I was missing out. Now it's one of my must have items in the kitchen.

PB2 is a powdered peanut butter - yes I said powdered. I know you are thinking like I did whaaaaat in the world? Like shaking it up thinking what is this?

Yes this is really peanut butter and it's in powder form. You are probably asking what is powdered peanut butter? Well it's essentially powdered peanuts that have been pressed to remove much of the oil and fats. Theoretically speaking this pretty much leave the taste and reduces the fat and calories. It leaves you with just a peanut powder that can be reconstituted in water.

It has 85% less fat and calories. You just add a little bit of water and voila. A serving of peanut butter is just 45 calories. The best thing about PB2 is that you can use this in a lot of your recipes that you make and call for peanut butter. You will totally slash the calories by adding it and the fat too! You can even add this in things that doesn't call for PB2 because it's that awesome. Kids will love it too - mine sure do.

Facts of regular peanut butter; 2 tablespoons = 190 calories, 16g fat, 7g carbs, 8g protein, 3g fiber and sodium oh goodness!

PB2 = 2 tablespoons = 45 calories, 1.5g fat, 5g carbs, 5g protein, 2g fiber, 94mg sodium.

The PB2 is sounding amazing right?

The kids love this PB2 is even made with chocolate. I know shut the front door - it sounds too good to be true ... But it's true and my kids even the picky one approves.

You can also add PB2 to your oatmeal and just hook it up for an amazing taste that makes your taste buds do a dance. It's great for flavor and protein.

I personally love smoothies I will try any kind of way to make one. I love playing with new ideas - the other day while in the kitchen. I threw in some banana, almond milk, strawberries, greek yogurt,  and some PB2 & ice. I blended it all together really well and OH MY GOODNESS that was some kind of good and I loved it. I didn't even offer to share it. Ok so maybe I made another for my kids. Haha! They loved it just as much as I did myself.

If you mix PB2 with chocolate protein powder it makes the shake taste like a peanut butter cup.

This even makes a great snack on ritz crackers. My kids love that.

It satisfies my cravings for sweets and fills my needs exactly. So I'm not grabbing something that's not healthy any more.

This is a great product for people trying to slim down when peanut butter is a bit of a problem.

I personally thought this would taste yucky but I'm a huge fan of it and how you can do so much with it. I can't find anything that I don't like about because I really love it and it's my new favorite item in the kitchen - a must have.

Here is more ideas you can try; in your ice cream, pancakes, smoothies, and protein shakes. What will you try your's in first? Do you want to try it? Well today is your lucky day I'm having a giveaway. I will choose the winner by random and the company will send them the prize. You need to be at least 18 years old and live in the USA to enter.
