I've been lucky enough to
be chosen for a review of The Digital Pro Pocket Scale. I love it for many
reasons one being – it’s very compact and is certainly portable. In fact it
comes with plastic protectors for the top and bottom of the scale so you could
slip it into a pocket or purse if you need to take the scale with you. The
clear casings protect the scale from scratches and at the same time can double
up as a container for smaller, harder to weigh items.
I use it on my computer desk,
mostly for weighing letters and packages because I deal with snail mail as I
call it daily. I always have to run to the post office recently this past week
I was thankful to have it handy in my purse when the scale went out at the post
office. The guy said “You come with everything off in your purse what else is
in there”. Haha never any telling what I might pull out of my purse it carries
it all. I’m a mom!
I have even used The
Digital Pro Pocket Scale in my kitchen fixing my kids lunches. They love it
just as much as I do. They pick out what they want for lunch I cut up let’s
just say for an example; ham, cheese, strawberries, crackers are already little
and cut up. Then we weigh out everything inside of cupcake holders. Then we
take it and pack it in a holder for their lunch. I heard one of my kids say
this past week “Josie is jealous of my neatly done lunch.” I said well tell her
how we fix it up and about The Digital Pro Pocket Scale we use.

The weight models are:
oz/ounces: Standard
measure here in the US.
g/grams:
Metric unit
ct/carats:
Used to weigh gemstones and pearls
dwt/pennyweights:
Also mostly used to weigh precious metals for dental applications.
ozt/troy
ounces: Unit used for weighing precious metals or gemstones
gn/grains:
There aren't many current uses for grains -- mostly pharmaceutical or dental.
The TARE function is a big
plus for me because it zeroes out the weight of the container. I wish my
digital bathroom scale has a TARE function too.
My kids have used the PCS
function once I read the instructions in the book we realized they could weigh
out beads, pennies, rocks, etc. You get the items you want say 50 pcs of
different beads. You want to count but it’s too time consuming right? Just take
a few of them and place them on the container press PCS then enter the number
you placed. Now, you can add more beads and the Smart Weigh will count the
number of beads you place. No more counting until 100! How easy is that? It
makes crafting easier too & homework as well.
I did notice just playing around with it
getting use to The Smart Weigh that it is very
sensitive because it can weigh even an empty envelope. I love that because I
don't have to guess how much my letter weighs and I won't have to deal with
returned letters due to insufficient postage. :) This is a very useful tool for
me.
My whole family has used
this at some point during the last two weeks. I think this is a good fit for us
and so happy we got picked for this review.
